Welcome to Sportsoman.com. This is a unique website for the Ministry of Sports Affairs, one that provides constantly updated local, national and international sports news. In time, we intend to broaden the scope of the website to include views and commentary on a wide variety of subjects relating to the world of sport.
In order to keep the website vibrant and dynamic, we would like to receive your thoughts, views and ideas about sport in Oman. SportsOman.com as an initiative is designed to help both men and women become more active, in sports, the community and lead to living healthier and happier lives.
SportsOman.com aims to bring national and expatriate interests in sports and healthy living together under one roof on the internet. SportsOman.com strives to develop interest in sporting activities and using the internet and technology help develop communities of interest around these. SportsOman.com also see itself playing a key role for helping people fond of Oman and its sporting activities to stay in touch and keep up to date with what's happening here.
SportsOman.com is a community portal which the Team plans to grow with significant input in a combined fashion. The Team will use various sources for inputs but one of the most important and fundamental to driving the overall direction will be the feedback from visitors to the portal.
To support the initiative SportsOman.com will from the day of the launch integrate the portal with the mobile telephony. Through this integration SportsOman plan to offer a greater level of security to its members as well as providing a channel to receive the news on the subjects that they wish to hear about.
